Week 5: The final product
This page is where you will be able to get the FBX files for my asset as well as the photoshop files from my textures. This page will also be used to reflect on the project as a whole.
Final piece
This is my asset and as you can see there is snow on the bottom from the planet that it is on and you can see the grey metal from where the blue paint has came off from how long it has been there. This would be used to provide heat by splitting the covalent bond between oxygen and hydrogen and use the hydrogen to create heat and it then releases the heat through the chimney
Please press the attachment on the left to see the final asset and the textures that I used.
Reflection on the whole project
On the whole I think that the project went well and this was a result of it being split into weeks and being given different weeks to preform the different tasks this allowed me to focus on the different sections individually. I think my strongest part of the whole project was the research phase and the planning phase and my weakest was actually creating the asset. Although I still had problems whilst actually choosing what I should create I solved that problem with my survey and managed to create an asset. On the whole I think that the project went well but I could have definitely done better. The final outcome is fit for purpose because it fits within the theme and the STEM.

A strength that I feel like my project has is the research and the initial concepts for my heater as they were extremely detailed and the drawings had all of their annotations on them. Making it my strongest point.

A weakness of the whole project is probably when it comes to my production as a whole this will be because of how I am not very strong within Maya but I used this project to help me build additional skills within the software so I don't feel like my skills within Maya are terrible and have definitely increased throughout the project. However I still feel like the technical skills section are my weakest.

On the whole though I feel like the project went well and it helped me build skills that I needed to get the extra bit of practise with the different software like photoshop and Maya.
