Production part 5

In this segment I fully intent on finishing off the environment as seen above in my Gantt chart. This will include adding trees and grass to the saharan part of the map as well as adding 3 different types of rock to the rocky area. As a contingency I also made the map abit smaller by removing some of the tiles.

This was then edited using photoshop.

During the production of the rocky landscape I used a feature in foliage mode called cull distance I used this so my rocks could would spawn when I get within a certain distance of them I also used this on the trees and some of the grass within the forest region. I did this so I had better optimization within the project. Below you will see a picture of the settings I used the same value for all of my foliage. 

Below you will see screenshots of eat of the rocks I created as well as the rocky landscape within my terrain after I used the paint tool again to put them in. I created them within Maya uisng a mixture of the sculpting tools.

I had to remove the grass as a result of optimazation issues and it all together making the game run poorly.
